The Word Collection is an ongoing project of my visual interpretation of individual words given to me, within the limitations of my environment. In some cases inspiration strikes almost immediately, such as with "Quantum" although it took a while to figure out how to do it. In others I may carry the word around in my mind for several weeks while an idea develops, such as with "Moment". How does one express a moment photographically when by definition, a photograph is a moment in time?
